Sonnit

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: March 5, 2026

Introduction

Sonnit ("we," "us," or "our") is a meeting transcription and AI analysis platform. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data responsibly. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

Information We Collect

We collect account information (name, email, authentication credentials), recordings and transcriptions you create or upload, AI-generated summaries and analysis, and — if you connect Google Calendar — read-only calendar event data. We only request read-only calendar access and never modify, delete, or create calendar events.

How We Use Your Information

We use your data to provide and improve Sonnit's services: generating transcriptions, AI summaries and insights, calendar-connected meeting scheduling, and customer support. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Recording Consent

You are responsible for obtaining consent from all participants before recording any conversation using Sonnit. Consent requirements vary by jurisdiction. Always ensure you comply with applicable laws before initiating a recording.

Data Retention and Deletion

You may delete your recordings, transcriptions, and account data at any time from within the platform. We retain data only as long as necessary to provide the service or as required by law.
